Stays normally begin on Mondays, but your Arctic experience can often be adapted to your travel plans. If your flights arrive on another day, contact us before booking and we will explore the best available option for your 5-day stay.

A great Arctic adventure also needs a comfortable place to come home to.
During your stay, you will be accommodated at our resort in Malangen in one of our well-appointed rooms, apartments or cabins, depending on your group and availability.
We place great importance on providing comfortable, high-quality accommodation where you can relax properly between your Arctic experiences.
One Arctic base – without the holiday logistics
Planning a winter holiday in Northern Norway can involve accommodation, airport transport, rental cars, restaurant bookings, activities, meeting points and several different operators.
With our All-in-One stay, much of that work has already been done for you.
Your accommodation is arranged. Your meals are taken care of. We meet you at the airport. We help organise your days. And throughout the stay, you have local hosts available to help you make the most of your time in Northern Norway.

Before arrival, we plan the stay together with you. We discuss your interests, dietary requirements, practical needs and preferred activities, allowing us to prepare a programme that is well suited to your group.
Alcoholic beverages are not included in the package price. Moillkoskafeen is fully licensed to serve alcohol, and beer, wine and other alcoholic drinks may be purchased separately.
Additional external activities, such as dog sledding, reindeer experiences and certain regional excursions, may involve an extra cost. Available options and prices will always be agreed with you before anything is booked.

Optional external activities can be arranged before arrival or during your stay. Availability and prices depend on the season, weather conditions and the selected provider. All options and costs will be discussed with you, and nothing will be booked without your approval.
After a day outside in the winter landscape, return to a warm and comfortable base, enjoy a locally prepared meal and settle in for the evening – with the fjord, mountains and dark Arctic sky just outside.

Experience the Arctic – not just the attractions
Malangen gives you something that can be difficult to find around the busiest parts of Northern Norway: space, darkness and time.
Here, the Arctic experience begins outside your accommodation.
Explore the winter landscape on snowshoes. Experience local snowmobile trails. Warm up in our Arctic Fjord View Sauna and, if you wish, take an icy dip in the fjord. Discover small communities, dramatic coastlines and mountain landscapes around Malangen and the wider region.
Spend evenings around the fire, enjoy locally prepared food and step outside to look for the Northern Lights when the skies are clear.
And there is also time simply to enjoy where you are.
Walk by the fjord. Take in the winter landscape. Enjoy the silence. Meet local people. Slow down.
Sometimes the best Arctic moments are not scheduled at all.
Northern Lights on your doorstep
Malangen lies away from much of the light pollution of Tromsø, making the dark Arctic winter evenings an important part of the experience.
We cannot promise the Northern Lights – nobody can – but when the weather and solar activity cooperate, you may experience them close to your accommodation without having to begin every evening with a long organised chase.
When conditions suggest that another location may give us better opportunities, we can adapt our plans and explore further.
The Northern Lights are not simply one activity on the programme. During your stay, you have several evenings and several opportunities to experience them.

Before you arrive, we talk with you about your interests, wishes and what you would most like to experience.
Together we prepare a programme for your stay, while keeping enough flexibility to make the most of the weather, snow conditions and opportunities available when you are here.
