Malangen Arctic Experience / Staff Camping is located by the fjord in Malangen, near Meistervik. From Tromsø, the drive normally takes just over one hour, depending on weather and road conditions.

The route depends on where you start. From Tromsø, many guests drive via Kvaløya and the tunnel connection towards Malangen. If you are coming from the E8, follow the road towards Meistervik and Malangen. Use Google Maps for the most accurate route on the day.

Please check the details in your booking confirmation before arrival. Some experiences start directly at Staff Camping / Malangen Arctic Experience, while selected tours may have a separate meeting point.

Arrive in good time, especially if you are joining a booked activity or sauna session. If you are delayed or unsure where to meet, contact the team before your start time.

• Warm, windproof clothing for the season
• Good shoes for changing weather and uneven ground
• Swimwear and towel if you are using the sauna or planning a cold dip
• Water, snacks and any personal medication you may need
• Camera or phone for photos, if you want to capture the fjord views

Weather in Northern Norway can change quickly. Even in summer, evenings by the fjord can feel cool. In winter, bring proper warm layers, gloves, a hat and footwear suitable for snow or ice.

Activities may be adapted if weather or safety conditions require it. The goal is always a calm, comfortable and safe guest experience.
